All individuals signing documents must present a valid, government-issued photo ID at the time of notarization. Acceptable forms of identification include a driver's license, passport, or other official ID that meets Washington State requirements.  Documents must be complete prior to the appointment. Notaries are not authorized to prepare, alter, or edit legal documents on behalf of clients.

Hello Notary’s services are limited to verifying identity and witnessing signatures. We do not guarantee the truth, accuracy, or completeness of the contents of any document and assume no liability for their legal effect. It is the client’s responsibility to review documents for accuracy before signing.

Hello Notary may print documents on behalf of clients for the sole purpose of completing notarial services. No changes, additions, or legal interpretations are made to the contents of any document. 

Travel and convenience fees apply in addition to the Washington State-regulated notarization fee. These fees are based on distance, scheduling, and document complexity. Travel fees will be disclosed prior to the appointment and are payable even if documents are not signed or notarized upon arrival.

For loan signings, Hello Notary is an independent contractor and is not affiliated with lenders, title companies, or legal advisors. The notary will witness signatures and confirm identity, but will not explain, interpret, or advise on any document content.

Our notaries are commissioned by the Washington Secretary of State (Commission No. 134308). We maintain a $10,000 notary bond (Western Surety Company, Bond No. 67524100N) and $50,000 Errors & Omissions insurance coverage (Western Surety Company, Policy No. 67535502N01) to protect our clients. Proof of commission and insurance is available upon request.

Hello Notary maintains active Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance coverage in the amount of $50,000. This coverage is designed to provide an additional layer of protection for clients in the unlikely event of a notarial error or omission.

Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. Clients will be notified of this policy during the booking process.

Hello Notary shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or legal consequences resulting from the use of notarized documents. Our services are performed in good faith and in accordance with Washington State law.

Hello Notary operates as a registered DBA of The EmenCe’ Collective, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company authorized to do business in Washington. All services are provided under this parent company.

Hello Notary is licensed in Washington as a mobile notary public, and Melissa Murray is the commissioned Notary Public responsible for providing services.

Our Washington Business License lists our registered agent’s office as the official address of record, as required by Washington state law. This is not a storefront location and is not open to the public. All services are mobile and provided at customer locations only.
